I got the larger set. My dryer has been at times unresponsive to button pushes, and my Cabrio washer has been having an F1 error (meaning the control board is failing) and requiromg multiple reboots to work. $1300 of the pair for Black Friday (online, do I look crazy?), and I caved. I have a 28” door to get into my laundry room, so the standard width is a plus.
The Cabrio replaced an HE front loader that worked very well but got killed in a move. The Cabrio never cleaned really well—I always run it on extra soil, deep clean, presoak, or nothing comes out clean. It’s okay but less than great with that 72-minute cycle.
Going back to a front loader, I’m hoping for better. I’m excited about the small Flexwash space for bras, swimsuits, sweaters, and overprifed athletic wear. I’m excited about the dryer for flexdry those things! And overall, I want a huge washer and dryer. I like cleaning all the sheets in the house in one load! Speed Queen and Miele are unacceptably small.
I’ll update when I get them!
