My mirror borders is not silver - it is anitque gold

My mirror borders are antique gold? Why is this? The mirror that I received is not as pictured or described. The metal of the frame is gold not silver. How will you correct it? I can't ship it back because all the packing material is not crumbled into small pieces and we have nothing to protect the mirror with.
