ummmm.... it's winter? There isn't as much direct sun-time to ripen them. "Patience, Grasshopper."

The fruit has been hanging there since September. They've never taken this long to ripen before. The garden even had more sun this year, because we replaced a stockade fence with chain link. At this point, I think the plants are taunting me.

`OK... have you tried fertilizing with something mild like worm castings? Perhaps there's nothing left in the soil.

Organic fertilizer and homemade compost. I'm mostly concerned that we'll get a freeze while the fruit is still on the bush...although, maybe that will get things moving.
