Driftwood mirror

Thanks lulu! I’m worried the driftwood might be too Beachy... i live in northern Va (So not on the beach). I also have a mirror as soon as you walk in so I’m thinking it might be too many mirrors. (Can’t tell from this photo, plus our half bath mirror)

Have you considered moving your picture to that wall and leaving the other one blank. I think you have enough going on (all good) without adding more to it. And the chandelier is blocking part of it anyways.

Also, have you tried the table going the other way? With your rug, it just seems like the table should be going the other way.

It's pretty sexy, needs some bling I think. Bar Cart with a tall slim lamp on it might work. You might need to fudge the table to one end and perhaps need to swag your lamp but it would be nice. A piece of art behind it and done.

Tedbixy the photo does make it look that way but it’s actually a narrow room so the table is the only way it will fit.

My husband is actually going to frame out the canvas! I like the idea of the art piece and have thought about one of those feather juju hats but didn’t know if that was random.

My light is an oversized lantern (wider) so you’ll be able to see through to the picture. I had the painting on the other wall but an interior designer friend said it fit better on this wall.

How about a mirror?

That dark wall color is too jarring and overpowering against all of that white moulding. I would repaint and then I would put a large piece of art where you currently have that one hanging, and then pieces of complimentary art in some sort of other combination on the adjacent wall (in other words, do not use just one piece of art again, use 2 or 3 or 4 smaller items). And no mirrors in a dining room.

Give the eyes a place to rest. Leave it as is.

Your one lone piece of art on the wall is too small and adds no texture to the room. I would consider some type of framed multiples on the large wall and maybe consider the metal votive candle holder on the short wall.

All the rectangle in the room could use the relief circles can provide. The flickering candlelight will animate your room.
