Need advice on exterior paint colour....

HELP!

(the top photo is the original color-like a taupe and the bottom is after we had the house painted 2 years ago) I am at a complete loss, so any advice would be awesome. The last paint colour I chose for my house ended up looking purple when all was done :0. The painter was nice enough to redo the colour to SW gray shingle, the trim is snowbound and the shutters are Tricorn(bottom photo). We need to have the house repainted due to window replacements from a hailstorm. This brick is killing me, no matter what, it seems to stick out. I don't want to paint the brick so I'm stuck with it, but I would like to choose colours that perhaps blend with the brick instead of accenting it. My thoughts are 1) stick with a gray but go darker? or 2) gray-green or 3) gray-blue? The trim would either be dark like SW urbane bronze or a brown gray like SW mindful gray. Oh, the garage doors are mahogany stain base with an espresso on top.
