tile is in good shape. that vanity,,,wow. remove all the hardware. strip off the paint from the hinges. give the wood a good sanding and cleaning. prime it w/oil base primer. paint it white. semi gloss. SW or BM paint. Get some new hardware.

pick a warm neutral color for your walls.

As for lighting, any light in the ceiling? windows?

that mirror has seen better days. remove it. If you want something large like that, look on craigslist. people often give those large mirrors away or for next to nothing. if you need it cut, take it to a glass shop and see if they can bevel the edges for a cleaner look.

Or, frame the one you have w/molding of 2" pieces of wood. lots of how to's on Pinterest.

bring in some accent colors w/rug or towels. I think black and white would be a great choice w/that color tile.

I would paint the walls and the vanity base white or off-white or something light in the same color family as your floor. I would just get simple silver knobs for the drawers and a chrome light fixture.

Here is a cute bathroom with a fun tile in a color similar to your's. If you want wallpaper, maybe something in a similar retro pattern.

I agree with Kim's advice. Since the tile appears to be a shade of terra cotta, I would suggest towels in silver grey to add another neutral. For an accent color, I would suggest light blue since blue is the complementary color of terra cotta and other shades of orange/coral.
