Breakfast Nook Light Fixture

Hi!

My husband and I recently renovated the kitchen in our 101 year old Craftsman. We are done, except we cannot decide on a light fixture for the breakfast area. The table is oval, and I think that may be throwing me off a bit. We do not have recessed lighting in that portion of the room, so we need a fixture that puts out a good bit of light and doesn’t cast shadows. We do not like modern, or farmhouse looks - we probably fit more into the “transitional” style. Does anyone have any recommendations? Pictures attached are the kitchen and the breakfast area.
