When I dabbled with Feng Shui several years ago, I learned there are always "fixes" when situations aren't ideal. If I remember correctly, the fix for this one is to tape a black circle (I used construction paper) behind the mirror. For the life of me I can't remember the exact reasoning for doing that.

Well, the mirror for feng shui is a critical point, why? Because it is a powerful tool for good things and for bad things. If you reflect the main door all energy will go out from your home.

This beautiful mirror has a metal frame, it could be perfect in the north, west or northwest corn of you home. Take care of the image that it reflect. In this fireplace the better are the wood decoration or green color.

What if its not the "main" door to home? And is there validity to taping the back of mirror with black circle?

As feng shui vision, the main door is the usual door that you use....so you have to check it.
The circle represent the metal for feng shui and the black the water, both things are not the best combination with fire.
The mirror is beautiful, you can move to other wall...if in the mirror is reflected the food in the table that represent wealth.

What do you place in your "money corner?" Sadly if I do move this beautiful mirror the only spot I have room for it is our bedroom-which would the. Point to our bed, isn't that bad too?

The mirror in the bedroom is not ideal, if it reflect the bed it is possible that you cant sleep as well.

Maybe, you can move the mirror in the same wall, in order to no reflect the door.

In the money corner.... If you mean that is the southeast corner of you home i would place plants or a water feature. Is it the Se?

I love that mirror there. Its too pretty to take down lol and if facing the front door it will "all energy will go out from your home" maybe the garage door will have the opposite effect? Maybe it will just take out all the bad energy? Idk. I say keep the mirror :D
