We are remolding our kitchen and the overall height is 84 inches. The island is 37 inches wide by 74 inches in length. The height of the island with countertop is 36 inches leaving 48 inches from the island to the ceiling.
From what I am reading, the maximum width of the pendants should be no more than 12 inches wide and the bottom of the pendant should be at least 30 to 36 inches above the counter, leaving by an overall length of the pendant anywhere between 18 to 12 inches long. I love the visual comfort line and I have my eye on the Sloan’s single pendant (need to customize the length). The overall shade is 12 3/8 inches leaving only an additional 5.625 inches max on the length. I think this will lol stupid. Any suggestions for pendants for short ceilings?
