Search on the internet for "Best 25+ Bay window curtains ideas on Pinterest". And then the same for 'drapes' instead of curtains. You get tons of pictures of how others managed their dilemma.

Ikea and the big box stores are your friends here I think. Ikea has a lot of inexpensive curtains that get great reviews here and elsewhere. They have curtain wires and track systems that let you work with tricky angles or ceiling mounts. And their curtains are good for high ceilings but also hemmable so that you could avoid blocking the a/c units.

The alternative would be measuring each window frame and buying cheap single cell blinds or roller shades for each. HD/Lowes will cut to length, or it's possible that you can use standard widths. Beautiful apartment by the way!

Maybe you could buy six blinds. One for the two sets of windows, then the larger window and one for the two sets. Then do the same on the other side (three blinds per).

I would consider mounting wide curtain rods on the wall just below the beams. You could buy white curtain panels. The two sections above the a/c units I would have white roller blinds inside mounted. If the white of both blind and curtains matches, it'll be fine and somewhat cohesive considering your dilemma. You don't want long drapes interfering with the a/c units. Having the curtains mounted below the beam will allow them to be out of the way of the patio door, they will sit on the wall to the left of the door when open in the daytime.

Hope that's clear. Basically, two inside mounted roller blinds above the a/c units. Curtain rods outside mounted up below the beams. One rod will cover the full length of the bay window. The other rod covering the full length of the door, middle and shorter a/c window.

Yes. It looks as though you have a view of a parking lot , and vertical blinds do nothing to block that. But horizontal blinds would narrow your field of view by restricting it more horizontally and blocking out the view downward.
