Redo kitchen pantry

I'd like to redo my kitchen pantry and replace the current sliding doors with matching cabinet doors. I am unsure if I should do cabinet doors on top and drawers on the lower half or all cabinet doors. If I do all cabinet doors as in one of the pictures attached, should I match the height of the lower doors to the same height as the cabinet to the left of the pantry?

Also the price to build out a shelving system like a piece of furniture to slide in the matching cabinet doors over expensive. Any other ideas that would include new shelves with matching cabinets on the outside?

We have a walk in pantry. I did not want a six panel door. Our carpenter was able to use cabinet doors and we are very happy with the way it turned out. We were unable to get a cabinet door the correct size so he did this:

No, not for that. Then I think I need to look at replacing the existing shelves with the same or wood shelves but not a cabinet the slides in. Then, have the molding built around it to support the cabinet doors so that it have the look of a built in until you open the doors. But then clueless on the layout of the cabinet doors that will look nice to the existing height of the bar area to the left of it.

Cabinet doors are the most expensive part of the cabinet. That’s where a great deal of the expense comes from. And the skilled labor required to do this.

You could DIY redo the shelving and paint the existing doors for under 1K. If you have tools and skills. If you have to pay for labor, double that.

The wire shelving should be replaced with a 32mm system, so-called because the holes are 32mm apart. Any cabinet maker can drill the side boards which are then screwed onto the side walls of the pantry. Shelves are placed, as you wish, by using small metal "pins" inserted into the side board holes. Side boards and shelves faced with Formica...about $400.

Hmm..I am interested in how you proceed. I will have a pantry very similar to your in my new kitchen. I am hoping to find doors that mimic my kitchen cabinets and paint them to match.

I really like the convenience of having drawers since my kitchen was remodeled. Hopefully you can have baskets or drawers fitted in the space. These spaces have

wire ones.
