The Del Mar Plata is beautiful, and I think it would tie everything in very well.

To look well with the white and the charcoal I'd go for number 5: Del Mar Plata.

Nr. 1 is nice with the charcoal, but very light with the white, so not enough contrast for me.

Nr. 2 is very non-symmetrical and could become a permanent eyesore, leading your eyes in a certain direction like a river.

Nr. 3 looks to me like the kids played with the inkpot without supervision.

Nr. 4 is my second choice. Seems a bit more busy then nr. 5 with these very dark patches in the upper right.

Nr. 5 gives enough contrast to both cabinets, still has enough going on on it, but doesn't overdo it. To me this one brings everything together.

The neutral range of option 4: Sygma White is going to give you the most versatility with other finishes in your space. Because there are some warmer gray tones mixed in with the true grays, it will help tie your warm finishes- like your flooring-with all of the cool tones such as your appliances and wall color. This will help to present options for you if you choose to add in more browns or other warmer toned finishes and accessories later on.

5...i like the blue tone. if doing a tile splash, do not get the little 4" backsplash countertop piece.

We are down between #3 and #5... if some of the pro’s could help with why going one over the other. We are really drawn and they are 2 very different pieces.. Thanks

#3 - Is busy and a more dramatic look.

#5 - Is more subtle not as much black IMO

I will always vote for Copenhagen (#3) but I am biased - it is what I have! I know it is not for everyone with its busy-ness, but over three years later I still adore it.

I love the Blue Dunes for the gray tones, but medium color that will bring the darker island and white cabinetry together.

You had to make your choice yesterday, what did you pick?

IMO #3- The white on the countertop will make your dark island to stand out and dark contrast will make your kitchen to stand out... put all together and your kitchen becomes a focal point with beautiful details. Bellow just to give you an idea what I mean...

#5 Is a nice countertop but IMO very boring, kills the appetite :-) I can see this go much better in the bathroom on the tub platform or the vanity tops.

Colonial White. It's strong but not overpowering.
