If, by architectural shutters, you mean stick-on faux ones, you should not do that. You have room for shutters and they should be real functional ones. Is your roof gray?

Your house does look pretty in yellow with red doors. However, you might find paint samples of yellow in the shades of lemonade or primrose that would be refreshing and see if you like them. if you are changing the roof, I would recommend a white metal roof and white shutters that are functional. If you do choose to continue with yellow, you might want to consider how a different shade of yellow would harmonize with the red doors.

I like the colors you have, but my parents always had red front doors. The yellow house had a brick red door and the grey one had a more cool almost burgundy red. If you really want dark green shutters then change the red door to match shutters. Classic black or charcoal shutters would work with what you have.
Go look at paint chips and you can find some historical color schemes. Classic white with dark green or red shutter and door would give a farmhouse look. Try light grey with your white trim and navy or charcoal shutters for a Cape Cod look. Sage green could work with deep teal, dark green or even burgundy or dark eggplant. You need a few samples to find the right shade but lots of stores have cards showing 3 color schemes.

A friend of mine had a Hawthorne Yellow home (BM) with Hale Navy (BM) shutters. I tried to talk her into a Heritage Red (BM) front door, but she said no! Went with a Hale Navy door. But it looked amazing! (She did get a Danish Post box, in bright red!)
