Curtain preference?

Hi,

I can’t make up my mind if I prefer with or without curtains. Which do you think looks best?

If curtains, which one, pure white, or off white?

Thank you!

I like the white because your bedding is white.

Much better without. Curtains/drapes add too much bulk, and corner windows look better with just shades IMO.

I like without or the cream because they are closer to the wall color. Do you need blinds? Will they always be closed? If not, how about a shot with the blinds up, with and without the draperies.

Oly, unfortunately the blinds will always be down. One window faces the street and the other one faces neighbors driveway. While I was waiting for the curtains to come in, I kind of got use to without. Now I’m not sure which I prefer! I guess I’ll have to live with them a few days to decide.

    Thank you!

I prefer curtains (white). It also gives a little more light control.

I prefer none. It seems like too much with the bedding. If it were a sitting room drapes would be okay but with the bed it seems cluttered.

Do you have additional panels you can add to the corner/center?

I like the look of curtains over shades but it seems incomplete with the corner bare.

I will try a panel in the corner tomorrow. I like the inspiration pics.

    Thanks songbird!

Lovely room! I like the window simply dressed - shades only.

Agree it looks fine without if you want to go that way. Just a different look.

There ya go! Last pic nails it. One question; would blackout curtains be something you'd like? I'm wondering if the current setup will block out sun enough when you want to sleep during the daytime. You can get white curtains with blackout lining. It's amazing the difference it makes.

I like without curtains, but if the window faces a street, you probably want them for light control and additional privacy. Unlined bamboo blinds are dead see through at night, might as well not have anything on the windows. I know this because I had them. I would put a strong light blocking lining on the blinds.

I’m thinking the curtains give a more finished look. I definitely like having a panel in the corner. Thanks for the suggestion songbird!

The blinds have privacy liners ( already tested) and the white curtains have cotton lining. I think that’s fine for our needs. I like light rooms, which is good because I have this funky little window...

Thank you all for your opinions/votes!
