I’d suggest a glass-topped table, with a wrought iron base, so the sidelight doesn’t look covered and to pick up on the detail in your stair rails.

I like the idea of the glass top with wrought iron, but I also think you need something large above it to take that area higher, since it is a large wall.

I agree with the above - a big piece of art would be perfect.

Even a cool bench would look nice there, if you don't want a table.

I agree with a tall piece above the table but personally I prefer a mirror in my entry. You could add a few tall candles and a decorative bowl for keys, or I used a lovely, flip top, decorative box which keeps them out of sight.
