Water Consumption

OT, but anyone ever wonder how much or how little FL uses compared to a TL ? In the literal sense, it gots me thinking . I only say this, as with my new DW, it's reports back how much water usage it uses. I believe on the last cycle , it used 2.7 or was it 2.3 gallons of water.

I'm sorta BLOWN away at this fact. I mean literally, prerinse, main, 2 rinses, etc...and all that or not water ?

I probably use 10X as much handwashing..

I commented in a thread in this forum started by Jeffry Caban about how much water my fl washer used for different types of loads. I don't know how much my old top loader used for med and low fills, but for the large fill it used 21 gallons for the wash and 21 gallons for the rinse, plus about .25 of a gallon for a 30 second spray rinse that was ineffective.

I can believe those #'s on water usage.

Unless the @#@# app is lying to me, I really can't wrap my head that in total ,it would use less than 3 gallons of water on a DW cleaning load.
