Can I use my present Thermador down draft system with the flameless cooktop?

Your downdraft rises over 13" to capture steam from the tallest pots so there should not be any problems.

I just measured my Thermador downdraft system and it measures about only 9” from the bottom to the top so that means it will not work with the flameless cooktop? Is there a downdraft system that does pop up that high?

Are there any testimonials or reviews from customers who have purchased the flameless cooktop and what cleaner do you use to clean the glass. Thank you.

No testimonials so far. As for the cleaner any cleaner for induction or electric cooktop will do.

Thank you and I forgot to ask—do you have to use the same type of pots and pans as for induction cooktops or any one will do? I realize gas under glass is new in the United States but could you direct me to a website that may have information, testimonials, or reviews from out of the Country that I could look up on line?

In addition can you tell me if my counter opening is a little bigger than the Slogaz cooktop is there any kind of trim kit I could purchase to make the cooktop fit into my opening? Thanks

Sorry, we don not carry any kits and AFAIK there are no dedicated kits for Solgaz cooktops.
