My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Kitchen design help: new construction

Need input in new kitchen, in modest sized open floor plan ranch with vaulted ceilings, with 3 little kids.

Current thoughts:
Countertops: Light colored Quartz or granite
-Silestone Lusso Quartz
- Silestone Bianco Orion Quartz
-LG Viatera Soprano Quartz
-river white, colonial while, or Kashmir White Granite (worry about water marks)

Cabinets: white dove Benjamin Moore, antique bronze drawer pulls

Island: reclaimed wood/ rustic or natural wood color

Floors: wood look, vinyl plank. Striped or fun rugs.

Walls: warm greyish beige...

Hopefully that doesn’t sound too boring. I like neutral, light and bright, esp after living in a dark, masculine, all wood, log home for past 9 years.
