Are you opposed to changing furniture placement? If so I might suggest moving the couch off the wall angling it directly across from fireplace. You could then place a long sideboard there with vases, plants, or tall buffet lamps on it with a large piece of artwork above. Mounting some antique word carved doors or oversized metal medallion would also work. Your options for décor are limitless. Have fun...good luck.

Lamp comes in all of these color bases. You should not see the metal stem of the lamp if your shade & harp are correcting sized.
