I would love your houzz input. I am remodeling my kitchen and adding a mudroom. The original plans called for a 10ft space that includes 8ft of mudroom lockers and 2.5' of office/charging station. The walk-through room is approx 10ft by 5.5 ft.

Once framing has started we realized there was valuable space left to play with rather than using it as storage in the garage as originally thought. We can fit a bathroom in the space, but the doorway to the bathroom would take up three ft of the mudroom lockers taking the lockers to only 5ft. We have a family of 5 and covet the mudroom space for all of our "stuff" that comes in and out every day. However, a bathroom that could be used right off the garage and outside without having to remove shoes and walk through the formal living room and use the guest powder bath may be more important. Any thoughts?
