Is this soil combination good for raised beds.

Hello,

I am planning to setup my first vegetable garden bed. I got suggestions online its better to buy the soil from local store. I went to one of the local stores and found the garden soil. Attached is the soil combination, is this a good combination? Also is this 100% organic?

Not organic at all.......there's various synthetic ferts added to it as well as acrylic polymer beads (Soil Moist). And at best this is a soil amendment, not a stand alone product for planting. This looks to be a soil less mix and raised beds really do need an actual mineral soil component for best results.

I don't know about the mix that you posted. My raised beds are successfully amended and I use peat moss, pine bark fines, black cow and fertilizers according to what I am planting. Occasionally I use bagged Kellogs soil from Lowes for containers and recently I bought an organic soil from Ace for raised beds.

Thank you for the replies. I think I also need to do something like bing different ingredients and mix.
