Dark Paint Colors for Basement

We are refinishing our basement and are thinking of deeper paint colors. The space has little natural light however we do have a lot of lighting. The ceiling is unfinished and painted black. Any suggestions? I like Benjamin Moore Shadow but I’d like to hear other colors.

I have benjamin moore gentleman's grey in my basement and I love it!

We have SW Quiver Tan (which is really more olive than tan) in the hallway leading to the basement and love it.

It's been a long time since I commented here so hopefully my link will work.

We too have limited natural light in our basement but added extensive lighting when finishing the space. We used color, some of it dark, to define various spaces. Our ceiling is drywall, painted white which I know helps bring life to the colors.
