Looks like you did alright. My main comment is that you formed the vase or bowl of each tree within inches of the ground. That's probably okay, but will make it more difficult to cut the grass, if that matters at all.

I noticed that too, but I didn’t really have a choice. They were the only branches available. The strongest branches with the most buds went straight as an arrow out the center of the tree, the ones I had to cut down.
