Is the russet the installation color, unpainted? Search the box above under Photos for tin ceiling. You'll see lots of inspiration pix. It may be premature to paint it if the other colors are going to change in the next few months.

Pics of the whole space would be nice . Is that your furniture? FYI both light fixrures are hung too high.

As a general rule, I would take the wall color and cut it to make it half the darkness of the walls for the ceiling. I would not match it to the trim, I would match it to the walls.

I think a tin ceiling has to be a standout from the other colors if possible.
