Hi Carol on the forum you'll see there are "Round Robin swaps" that aren't the round robin one box makes its way around type of thing. The one box moving about swaps take a long time if you're on the second half of the list, so not great for spring while we're all in planting now mode. One of the monthly swaps is FOTESS (friends of the earth simple swaps) and you just contact Jeanne or Shirley to ask to join and check out what happens each month to see if you want in (March closed so check 1st week of April). The other is OBF (Our Blooming Friends) - they do bigger swaps (maybe a box with a handmade gift) and again you can check each month to see if you want in. BE CAREFUL though, as it is ILLEGAL to mail plants or bulbs into many states (the law helps stop the spread of viruses and diseases you can't see plus all those bug eggs you can't see that aren't easily killed by pesticides). Some folks know this and selfishly don't care about others if it gets them a free cutting or start - and the person mailing is the one liable, not the totally selfish one asking for and accepting illegally mailed bulbs and plants. California is one state that really tries to educate folks not to ship plants in, but I know there are many. Best to just avoid any swaps asking for bulbs, cuttings or plants and you're a-ok. Thank you very much for your help but looks like I'm too late for them and I find it very hard to work this site, it's very confusing . I am 70 yrs old and I love to Garden but I will just stick to swapping the seeds I don't want with people that have what I want , Thanks again CAROL
