This is what I would suggest.

I would move that T.V to a console beside the fireplace where that large piece of art is and mount the T.V on the wall with an articulating mount . It is way too high where it is . Then you could get 2 chairs facing the T.V and be able to move them into the conversation area for guests since IMO the T.V should not be on while entertaining usually.

The rug is too close to the hearth. It should slip under the front 1/3 of the large sofa, so that will leave flooring exposed in front of the hearth and ground the sofa, as it should be. I would put a game table between the two chairs so they have some purpose by the window.

We agree with Nancy's layout. Perhaps try adding a coffee table as well.

Lumbar pillows would make the chairs more inviting and comfortable....choosing these pillows in the rug color would also give the rug something to relate to in the color theme....I would also strive to exhibit more of a purpose for those chairs..perhaps floor lamps behind each one with a big cushy ottoman in between to suggest a comfy reading spot ....or a table tall and big enough enough in between for dessert...coffee..or games.....these chairs do add a lot to the room ...with the contrast in fabric and more crisp structure than the couch seating...makes it all more interesting with the different textures

It is also sort of bothersome that the couch is against the wall...it breaks up the traffic pattern and sort of disengages from the seating group...if there was any way to squish it closer to the fireplace...it would create a more cozy grouping and separate it better from the chair grouping....if the chairs are lightweight enough it may be possible to bring one closer to the couch area when more seating is needed

Another option would be to bring the loveseat over to the couch ...corners touching...into an L-shape ....with a corner table filling the corner space ......it brings the seating closer together in a tighter grouping for a cozier feeling...preventing the zig -zag traffic pattern between the couch and loveseat as well

With this last option you can add a coffee table or ottoman much easier as well
