Oddball Corner

Hey everyone! I have a corner in my family room that is empty. I’m not sure what to do with it. Any tips and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

I have the exact same corner. I hung a pendant light coming straight out from the corner, and moved a small, 42” dining table, with 4 chairs. I made the odd corner into my dining room, and used the rest of the room as a small family, sitting, playroom. What started as my stress point, ended up being my favorite room in the house.

It really depends on what is going on in the rest of the room. Photos, please? Perhaps....nothing! A place for the eyes to rest?

Well I see you do have a dog but she has already claimed the sunspot as her place (smart girlie!!)

Thanks for the suggestion! I tried placing her bed in the corner, but she prefers the sunspot! :-)

If there's enough light for plants, I agree with the above comments. Several plants don't need lots of light, including ones that drape. You might consider a tiered plant stand that would allow you to have several plants, and give this corner some substance. They come in all styles.
