I recently bought a foreclosed house. The person that previously lived in it was doing some rennovations before they lost the house. The basement is finished. They started to put wood paneling on all of the walls in the basement. It’s not a “smooth” look. We can’t figure out why they would be putting that on the wall. Is there anything that you can do with wood paneling on walls? We were able to see that there is drywall underneath the wood panels. Would it be best to just take the wood down and sand the drywall?
