It will be hard to get netting over 15' trees unless you have a tall ladder or can stand in the bucket of a skidsteer and be hoisted that high. I only net my cherry trees. I try to keep them no higher than 12' to help make this easier.

I build a temporary frame around each tree by driving in 4 wood stakes. Then I add thin riser stakes to the top of the heavier stakes. The riser stake has an empty milk jug on top and can be adjusted higher or lower depending on the height of the tree I am staking. The milk jug allows the netting to be pulled over it without catching and tearing. I staple the top part of the net to these temporary stakes. The bottom of the netting drapes to the ground so I just put a stake horizontally over it to hold it down so the critters don't get under it.

See photos. I only do this on 2 cherry trees. It is a bit of work but it even allows me to pick from inside the netting!

These are old shots of when I used to use the cheap netting I could pick up at the garden centers. I too have switched to the heavier green nets from American Netting. They are much easier to work with and do not snag as much on the trees/fruit as the thinner/cheaper stuff. Well worth the extra money spent!
