Getting rugs for both rooms with white and the teal color will help meld both rooms. Also painting the living room the color of the dining will help. Have you thought of painting the dining room table white as well?

Rugs w/ the same accent colors, highlighting the turquoise, will help. but honestly, that couch and oversized chairs are not going to blend w/the dining area. they just won't. completely different styles and tones. At the very least, get some white slipcovers for them and pillows w/the blue tones. you need a nice large piece of art of the sofa. also one behind the dining table. Put a large plant in the corner of the living room to the left of the window and move that little blue table. put it under the window if you have to have it in there.

examples of art to tie in the colors (if you use a white slipcover. otherwise, save your money for new sofa and sell yours)

what are the dimensions in your living and dining room and are you capable of switching the rooms. are you planning on keeping some of the furnishings. Your living furniture is way too big for that space.
