Do you notice that the Quartzite scratches?

I put quartzite in a house we built and I never lived in and my Husband lived there and said it scratched easily?

    No. Not one scratch. We have had it over 3 years now and I cook A LOT ... at least two meals a day. My sons sit at this island to eat and do homework everyday, also. It gets a lot of use. I know marble and onyx scratch more easily.
