Hi coopie, just saw you posted this. How'd you end up solving this design dilemma? Use a floor outlet similar to this?

Wish I had seen this earlier. I could not ...did not have time to research...and had to put regular plugs(like on the wall) with brass switch plates. They work fine and have not been a problem, but I wish I had covers over the switches, like you have shown. I am afraid the plastic uncovered plugs will break, but they have not. The only problem I see with the plugs shown is the cover standing up when open. I guess it will not be a problem since the plug will stick out too. Are there two plugs instead of just one? Where did you find this one?
