Kitchen Facelift

Hi All! I received a lot of input from all of you, so thought I’d share the final product.

I gave my kitchen a facelift, keeping the cabinets as they’re really good quality, but replacing busy granite with leathered cambrian black granite. I also replaced the busy backsplash with ivory thin brick. And swapped out my old, somewhat shallow stainless sink with a Kohler Prolific sink, and replaced the faucet with a Kohler Arise faucet.

J it turned out so pretty, I'm considering cambrian black granite how have you liked? Does it show a lot of fingerprints and grease marks? Thanks!

@AMS, thank you. I really love the leathered granite. I originally wanted soapstone, but am super happy I went with this...virtually maintenance free & no fear of scratching

Is the sink easy to clean, and is quiet when pans are put in it? The kitchen is beautiful!

@kath, yes, it has been easy to clean & quiet. I love the accessories...especially the drying racks...super useful

@tarkarban, I love the leathered granite. No fingerprints & minimal grease marks...just looks dirty when it’s actually dirty, which I like so I know where I need to clean! My old granite with the busy pattern always looked clean, which I hated because when I wiped down, it was filthy!
