Like any natural wood product, the Ipe wood interlocking deck tiles will fade to a silvery grey color over time, the rate at which will depend on how exposed they are to direct sunlight and your geographical location. You can slow the extent to which the tiles will fade by applying a good-quality decking oil with UV inhibitors from time to time but this will never completely stop the natural graying process.
Ipe wood is a very stable wood species and the tiles should not warp over time although they will show some temporary surface cupping across the surface of the tiles in certain weather conditions, mainly after heavy rainfall followed by intense sunshine.
