This bench comes with hand rubbed coat of wax. When used under cover, just a rub with bees wax will keep it pristine. When used outdoors without a cover, the wax will disappear and the bench will turn silver grey. Just clean it with soapy water twice a year. When you would like to preserve its original color, we suggest using a teak sealer like Semco.
