I posted earlier today but was hoping for more responses, so I’m trying again :)

I’m in search of the perfect greige/warm grey paint colour.

I’ve posted a pic of the floor and colours in the kitchen to help with matching. This will be throughout the whole main floor of the bungalow, and there’s good light.

I’m considering Para paint “snappy dresser” and Benjamin Moore “collingwood”. Suggestions welcome!

My favorite greige paint are BM Balboa Mist and Paloma Gray. Balboa mist is much lighter.

Look at Ben Moore's Winds Breath as a possibility...on upper walls in this photo.

1. Hardware on kitchen cabinets. The same for faucet and light fixtures too?

2. Kitchen cabinets

3. Back splash? If so what color grout?

4. Wood floor

What will your counter top be?

Paint colors you are considering...
Para Paints = I could not find this color on their web site.

BM Edgecomb Grey -definitely! Its not gray, its greige...my favorite neutral.

Thanks so much for all the input. I think I’m narrowing it down to my initial thoughts, Collingwood (BM) or Snappy Dresser (Para). Any comparison or input on these to specific paints would be appreciated!

@rawketgrl - 1 hardware in kitchen, 2 and 4 are cabinets, 3 backsplash

I think I am getting it now... your kitchen cabinets are both white and wood stained. Is the white on the uppers and wood on lowers? What will your counter top be?

I cannot find any info about Snappy Dresser on Para's website so I can't compare the two very well.

BM Collingwood is a pretty true gray, it should stay a true soft gray in most lighting, not lean greige.

I would not select teal blue for any permanent material in the home. Just not enough light reflection for a backsplash IMO.

Revere pewter and edgecomb gray have been very popular ones. I've seen quite a bit of Agreeable Gray as well recently, though it always looks more beige to me. My apartment is painted revere pewter and it is a solid compromise between beige and gray. Feels like a perfect neutral between warm and cool and can fall either way depending on the lighting and decor you use.
