Oh, wow, I love it! I don't see why it couldn't be a baby quilt as is. But if you want to make it larger/rectangular you could add a plain border to just the top and bottom then maybe some more mountain blocks in a top and bottom border.

If the big quilt is for yourself, use this as a wall hanging when using the quilt.....or use it as a wall hanging even if the quilt isn't for you. :-) Yes, it's an ok size for baby quilt. It's gorgeous!

After auditioning lots of fabrics, I found one and added one more border so the top matches one width of backing fabric. Now I need to sandwich and quilt it.

But today is Wee Care assembly day, so no quilting!
