I agree-play it up. The agate paper that lynartist showed is gorgeous! Navy and blush is also a great combination as suggested. I also agree that the mirror is too large. A pretty oval would look nice in the space.

I had Innocent Blush fixtures in a second master, last house. Painted the walls green, trim cream and had silver accessories/art framed in silver. It was lovely. Definitely ditch the medicine cabinet and towel bar. Replace the mirror with a framed mirror. You can even have one made at your local framing shop. Add an interesting piece of art over the toilet and a new light fixture.

You know, pedestal sinks and toilets can be purchased quite inexpensively at Home Depot or Lowes. My city actually gave me a free low-volume toilet. Rather than try to make the pink look, well, less pink, pick up new spanking white sink and toilet. It's probably not going to break the budget.

@indigoheaven, how'd you get a free low-volume toilet? That's awesome! I don't like the new laws and low flush/low volume toilets...they are the worst. Have to flush 2 times to get everything down. I like the strong suckers... ;-P

Love the dark grey walls! My only issue is that the light fixture seems to have been hung too high on the wall. Can you lower it?

Thanks for all of the feedback! How do you guys put the images of the mirrors on top of the picture of the bathroom? I was thinking an oval mirror because it would echo the oval of the sink, but the comparison that lynartist posted is very helpful. I would like to move the light down, but I would have to move the electrical box down and I'm not that handy. The distance between the the top of the sink and the bottom of the light is 42", and everything I read online said to place the bottom of the mirror 5-10" above the sink, so I'm hoping once the mirror is in it won't look too high.

I think it will look perfect with a tall vertical-oriented mirror. Moving electrical box not worth the time/money. Your choice of mirror will make it work.

it is too short, but it's cute. Can you put it elsewhere and shop for a new one? I've noticed that antique malls are full of mirrors. I keep wanting to buy them, but we already have all that we need.

As an aside, we recently painted our basement rec room Chelsea Gray, and I've been super happy with it.

Love the mirror (and the price) and like the idea of a shelf to accompany and "fill in" beneath the mirror. Would also be functional to hold tissues, flowers, candle, etc.

The mirror is too short. I'd keep looking. I wouldn't add a shelf here; it will be an invitation to clutter.

That mirror is too small. Too short and not quite wide enough.

My house is one year newer than yours; built 1990. And I too have an Innocent Blush bathroom (and a Wild Rose one too). Choice of the builder, not me.

One trick I found, would be for you to go to your favorite paint store, and buy wall paint that is a perfect match to Innocent Blush, and completely paint the walls of your bathroom. By doing this, the Innocent Blush fixtures will just blend in, and disappear.

Now, come in with a bold contrasting color. It could be the dark grey previously mentioned here. Or some other color that appeals to you. Then buy towels, window coverings, blinds, soap/toothbrush holders, and whatnots, in that color.

Guests will see the bold dark grey (if that's the color you went with), and not even notice the Innocent Blush.
