Hi NJ Mom, thanks so much! The light fixture was bought by the client at IKEA.

It actually opens up and resembles an exploding Death Star. It really finished the room off nicely.

One of your STAR WARS projects? Very cool. If this were my 11 year-old nephew’s room we would never see him again! Quick question: Did the homeowners not allow you to paint the doors? You could’ve gotten really creative with those!

The funny thing is that I think the room was more for the Dad than the son. He's a huge Star Wars fan like myself and we talked Star Wars all day.

As far as the doors being painted, I do a lot of rooms were I paint the doors as well but the white just seemed to work well with the white trim and stormtroopers. The white served as a nice break from all of the darker colors.

I have an eleven year old as well and he's excited for the Han Solo movie in three weeks. Already have our tickets!
