When I put this on my kitchen faucet, I cannot get it to SPRAY

It only streams. Package says it will do both - but I need to know HOW to make it spray rather than just stream.

Thank you for
your interest in Danco products. To switch the Danco Sprayrator from stream to
spray mode, you will simply pull down on the white collar of the sprayrator.
You can simply press up or turn of the water supply to revert it back to stream
mode.
