Need help identifying modern stair railings for home in Seattle area

Hi, we're looking for some help in finding sources for reasonably priced horizontal modern stair railings for a 3-story home and coordinating balcony railings (2 x 10 feet or so) for a spec home we're buying in a town outside Seattle. The builder promised these to us in a meeting months ago and just today asked that we come up with some options that he could price to see if they fit in his budget. So far, everything I've found here on Houzz (and elsewhere) seems either custom or prohibitively expensive. I realize that it's up to him to find something, but if we want a railing design that we'll like (and hopefully love), we know we have to be feeding him options. This is one of the photos that seems possible. We'd love a wood railing on top, but realize that adds to the cost.

I quit bidding on stair jobs because no one liked my rates. You'd better forget "reasonable". Unemployment is at a 17-year low, the whippersnappers all went back to college in 2008, and those of us left are nearing retirement and don't care if we get the job or not.

Be aware if you have or plan to have children that they can climb the railing. From what I have heard on this forum, this is an expensive stair system.

I too am interested in this same information. I'll be following this post:-) All the information I've found has been custom built by a local iron worker/blacksmith in Southwest Louisiana.

These railings are custom. It's not like you can select parts and assemble them. Everything has to be welded. So if you are prepared for the $$$ of them contact a metal shop.

Here are sources for staircase railing parts that can be ordered, but still have to be measured and assembled by someone.
