Matching Brizo Litze Brilliance Luxe Gold Tub and shower

Hey guys! We are in the middle of a build and have ordered the Brizo Litze Brilliance Luxe Gold tub filler (for a freestanding tub) and the pivoting shower head for the shower. Problem is, I don't love the vanity sink faucet options? So I'm wondering if anyone has mixed with the Delta Trinsic champagne bronze. Do the 2 finishes match? Brizo is the luxury line of Delta, so manufactured in the same plants, so I'm assuming yes, but don't want to order and not match.

OR could I go with a matte black finish and it not look weird?

go to a bath place and compare the finishes in person. they have little chips of all the companies finishes. They appear to match on the pics. They will be far enough away that any slight difference really won't be noticeable.

I was wondering the same exact thing to mix and match shower components... Please follow up if you find out. I will do the same...

I did just find this as a comment on a blog post: "I Love everything you did and I just finished remodeling our master bath which was a challenge coordinating finishes with fixtures, mirrors, lights drawer pulls, and accessories. We started with the shower fixture, which was very expensive, (Brizo Litze in Luxe Gold)-mistake one. I didn’t want to spend the dollars on the other fixtures and discovered Delta Champagne Bronze was an exact match – I selected the Vero single handle faucets and absolutely love them along with the cool paper holder. Sorry I didn’t start with Delta. The quality and design are amazing!"

I just ordered and received several shower components- Delta valves, shower arms, and handles with Brizo showerheads... From what I have so far, I cannot see a noticeable difference between the finish on the Champagne bronze shower arm and Luxe Gold showerhead. I think I'm going to order the Trinsic sink faucets now, as well!

We're considering this same mix and match of finishes. From what I can tell the luxe gold/champagne bronze are softer than many gold/bronze tones - is that accurate to how they look in your bathroom? We were really looking for a brushed nickel option, but since Delta doesn't offer that thought this might be a good, slightly warmer-toned alternative to the stainless.

The Luxe Gold in Brizo and Chanpagne bronze in delta do not match exact unfortunately. The Delta Champagne Bronze is darker and has more of a brushed look. If the sudden tone difference doesn't bother you then I'd say go for it. :)

Has anyone found light fixtures that match the Brizo Luxe Gold?

Here is what we ended up with: Brizo Litze shower heads/slide bar next to Delta Trinsic valve trim. ELK lighting over Delta Trinsic faucets. Definitely not all exact matches, but close enough that most people wouldn’t notice in the brief moments they are in our bathroom.... I am definitely pleased with the “look for less”. Worth the savings for us.
... I also did prefer the look of the Trinsic design to the Brizo options for faucets... We chose not the change out our hardware and towel bars (as seen), as they were the same stainless pieces throughout the entire house. I actually quite like the warm/cool contrast. We did the same in the kitchen- mixed brass lighting with Stainless appliances & hardware. I think the “soft” finish of the metals helps it all make sense together...

We also mixed the Brizo luxe gold and the Delta champagne bronze in our kids' bathroom. We started with Kohler's vibrant gold for their Purist series sink faucet, which turned out to be too gold and wouldn't match the Atlas Bradbury pulls (warm brass) on our cabinet. We then tried Kohler's vibrant brushed bronze faucet, but the color was almost too muted and closer to brushed nickel in my opinion. All Kohler products were returned. Next up was the more affordable Delta Trinsic faucet in champagne bronze that was a deeper color and closer to our warm brass cabinet handles. The faucet handle is made of metal and, for the most part, is really nicely made. I still prefer the smoother feel and design of Kohler's Purist handle, but we couldn't get the color match with Kohler. So...Delta Trinsic faucet in champagne bronze was our choice. BUT the biggest flaw with Delta is that their shower pieces are ALL PLASTIC. The tub faucet is ALL PLASTIC. I just couldn't get over the plastic tub faucet. We blew the budget and went for the next level up with Brizo Luxe Gold for all shower components. It is VERY beefy and strong. Made extremely well and feels like quality. Did I mention it's a budget buster? Finally, a shower piece NOT made out of plastic! I was stuck on wanting a metal-based tub faucet (Really, is that too much to ask?). However, Brizo can get pricey FAST, so here's what we did: Brizo tub drain, Brizo shower trim kit/handles, Brizo shower flange--all in luxe gold. For the shower head itself, we went back to plastic Delta champagne bronze In2ition shower head from a practical standpoint of needing that pull down shower head and also a rain shower. Plus, we have very hard water where we live, so we'll probably have to replace the shower head sooner than later. The colors are a VERY close match. More of a softer bronze color bordering on a warm brushed nickel. Most likely we will continue to use Delta for the other finishing touches in the bathroom as it's cheaper. We'll see where we are at with the budget when we get to that point. Good luck, everyone! We are still trying to find a match with our vanity lights, so if you have suggestions, please pass them on! I'll update with photos when we are finished with the remodel.

if you call delta or brizo they would probably be able to answer if their hardware colors are an exact match.

@angievb75 - I found some options within the ELK lighting brand that were a close (not perfect, but close) match... see my terrible photo above ;) Will see if I can get some better shots

Thanks, @edoo79! Looking at Elk lighting, and also some lights from Capital Lighting and Savoy House that seem promising. Going to buy one of each and see how it looks in our bath. I’ll keep ya posted. Your bath looks amazing, by the way!

So continuing on the lights discussion....We ordered two different vanity lights to see which one would match closest to the Delta Trinsic faucets in champagne gold. Here’s a side by side of the two different lamps next to the Delta faucet in champagne bronze (see photo). The Capital Lighting Aged Brass was the closer match.

    Here are the links:

    Hello there

I just got the Brizo luxe gold kitchen faucet. I'm awaiting cabinet hardware samples bbubut having trouble with my lighting. Angie I'm wondering which of the 2 lights you bought do you think would go best with the Brizo Luxe Gold? Anyone else have any suggestions?

It's easy to order a bunch of door pulls but lighting is so hard to buy on line!

    Hi Christa,
I found Troy Lighting’s finish Champagne Leaf was a good “match” for Brizo’s Luxe Gold (first 2 pics). I was disappointed by many that looked close in online photos but were too brassy in person (3rd pic) for example - returned fixture). I’m in the middle of a bath renovation and using the luxe gold finish, it has been difficult if not impossible to find close matches.

Also Hubbardton Forge Lighting has a finish called Soft Gold that is a “match” to Brizo’s Luxe Gold.

For lighting to match Luxe Gold, something I noticed was several manufacturers using creative color names like “Silver Leaf, Antique Silver Leaf, Champagne Silver” etc etc that appeared light gold without brass or bronze tones. But without the word “gold” in the name they did not show up on internet searches for “gold lighting”. Also Brizo does make some of their own light fixtures in luxe gold.

Like myrica4 said, Brizo has its own light fixtures. https://www.brizo.com/bath/category/accessories

For vanity lighting, I too had a hard time with the luxe gold, I opted for a LED built in mirror, saved the trouble of matching mirror and lighting!

@Christa2212, We went with the lights at this link. Best color match. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072M19MSN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_EMEoDbPXAXPT1

We purchased this mirror and it matches perfectly with our Brizo Luxe Gold fixtures. Just purchased a Capital Lighting aged brass fixture based on comments here- hopefully it works- it'll be our 3rd light fixture.

I’m doing a similar bath. Mixing the gold with matte black. Found this light to tie it all together.

We found this post to be a great resource for items that coordinate with Brizo Litze Brilliance Luxe Gold. The designer links to towel holders, faucets, and other accessories that work with it.

Finished our master bath remodel. used Brizo Luxe Gold fixtures, the following lighting and mirrors matched great. went with matte black for the shower door handle and hinges.

I'm planning the lux gold as well and wondering what to do for a towel warmer?

Does anyone have suggestions for what brand of metal trim (for tile and shower niche) matches to the Brizo lux gold color?

Can’t find a towel warmer to match. Do I get one that’s not quite the same or go totally different with polished nickel or go without?

jysrnsn, I am in the same boat. Thinking I am just gonna go with a polished chrome Amba Radiant towel warmer. Certainly a different finish, but every huge Gold towel warmer I've seen just looks bad. Just too much gold.

Has anyone found glass shower door hinges and handles that match the Brizzo lux gold?

    We used black...

anyone find a shower drain to match the Brizo Luxe gold? I was hoping for linear drain, but will take anything at this point

    Yes- Mountain Plumbing makes one

The color is called brushed bronze

FYI - have done 3 bathrooms in all Brizo soft gold, going to great effort to “match“ pieces. Done.

Then while in Lowes last week noticed a display for $80 Jacuzzi-brand faucets in a gold color that looked amazing (and dirt cheap), with nice design lines. Here come the soft gold knockoffs! Accessories can’t be far behind.

This is the Jacuzzi faucet I saw from a distance, didn’t touch it and didn’t have any Brizo luxe gold samples in my purse to check for color match. Yes it is probably plastic etc, but I would now expect this eye-candy Instagram-factor to take off in a market where $600 faucets are not reasonable for most...

Brizo Luxe gold shower hardware and sink faucets. We ended up with black handles and shower door hardware and a tile-in drain. We used Brizo hardware for toilet paper holder, robe holder, towel holder. The other fixtures aren’t necessarily an exact match but close enough to work and look good.
Vanity lighting is Capital Lighting (Aged Brass) 3 LIGHT VANITY 121831AD-432.

What is the best gold that doesn’t show water spots? Is that even possible? I just bought everything in Delta Champagne Gold. Now I’m think of returning and going with Brizzo. I love their chrome and black but do they have a gold and black?

@westjonathanamy did you find a mirror to match?

@Michele Godden: For the Hamilton Hills wall mirror, did you choose the color "gold" OR "Polished Gold" to match the Brilliance Luxe Gold color?

This was a sconce I found at Shadesoflight.com that matches the Brizo luxe gold faucets we selected for our kitchen sink.

Really like using the Luxe Gold fixtures by Brizo, have done several bathrooms over the past few years with some good “matches”, some that didn’t quite work out in my eyes, some that sort of did work because they were far enough away from the Brizo items, some that really didn’t matter, and for some things giving up and using black or white finishes. Once you start with the luxe gold its down the rabbit hole. Following this thread and I had hoped that Brizo had expanded their accessories, or that Delta would offer luxe gold as a finish, or that another company would offer alternatives.

Shower drains, tub drains and shower doors have been the biggest match-problem IMHO, as well as finding a narrow threshold piece to use on the floor to separate tile from wood.

@ Terry Futch - yes Mountain Plumbing makes awesome drains and they do have a finish called Champagne Bronze. I called and asked how it compares, they said they have a chart online and that theirs is a match for Delta’s champagne bronze. That is close and wish I had tried it for a 4” square drain cover, instead of using a Schluter part that isn’t really a good match at all.
