Hello all! My daughter and I planted sunflowers on the side of our house about a week ago and we checked in them the next day and I’m pretty sure squirrels dig up our seeds! (we have lots of squirrels here)

I bought more seeds today, I thought about putting clear plastic cups over them until they start growing. is that a good idea? I also read about putting coffee grounds there to detour them...thoughts?

Any advise or suggestions?
