Looks cool and well done. I had contemplated doing something like that and attaching a used and appropriately blunted sawzall blade to each of the sifters. Then when needed I can attach my sawzall for the shaking action. The sawzall will also need a tool rest and clamped to the outer frame in a fixed position. However, never got around to it.

That was my thought too. I've also seen some on YouTube where they've used a cheap jigsaw. I may eventually try something like that.

No, it's actually made from 3/4" plywood. I made it last season and has been awesome for yard work. I've even filled it with rock and sand and it's held up.

Jigsaw will be easier to mount. I wonder if it will have enough juice to shake a loaded sifter - probably will. Great barrow design and well executed.
