What is wrong with my Opuntia cactus?

I've had it 11 months now. I started it as a single leaf and now I noticed large brown spots on it. The plant doesn't get overwatered and the soil is very quickly draining. It gets lots of sun daily.

- 8 years agoI removed the two young pads from the cactus since the fungus was spreading to other parts of the plant. I will allow them to callus over. Do you think these are too young to be propagated?
