Do you mean ultrasonic?

Sonic Wash is the brand name. Yes, it's supposed to be ultrasonic. The hype says it can be used to clean "anything."

I wasn't aware of this type of gadget until you started this thread. So I cannot comment on laundry cleaning effectiveness.

Even in a best case scenario where it does clean fabrics, (and it has no lithium batteries that could get wet in the process), you still have to find a sink or tub with a reliable drain stopper, agitate the clothing by hand or with a tool, and then squeeze the excess water from the clothing when you are done washing before you can hang it to dry somewhere.

If it was me, I would bring along a few laundry detergent tabs, and then just schedule some overnight stops at hotels that have coin laundry machines available for guest use.

zenhar24, Your suggested method is what we've been doing, and with the quick-dry underwear and clothes, it works fine. I was tantalized by the gadget, though. Thanks!
