I have a sauveolens pink too. They have the biggest flowers, and smell absolutely yummy. I'll see if I can find a picture of how big mine were last year. Sadly, my big one doesn't look like it's going to put out any new growth this year, but I have a baby growing in the courtyard, so I'll still have one.

I can't wait to see what my seedlings turn out to be. Most will probably be white, but who knows? Maybe I'll get something really pretty. I know I have the moths around here that pollinate them, so once I get several colors, maybe I'll get more seeds to play with.

Thats a beautiful variety. A vendor at my local farmers market wants $25 for a single rooted cutting of Charles Grimaldi. Knowing how incredibly easy brugs are from cutting I would feel so foolish.

It is beautiful, and I missed having one ever since mine in SW FL died. I think I'll likely lose a few of these cuttings, because some are very thin (not pencil size), some are very woody, and all were a little more stressed by the trip across country than I'd hoped. I'm going to have to get more perlite, because they aren't doing so great in water, despite adding a bit of peroxide. But even if I only get a few plants, it's worth it. Like you said, rooted cuttings are exorbitantly expensive.
