Advice for garage door

Can I get some advice regarding a garage door? Looking to replace but not sure what style and color would look best. House located in Miami.

You have no choice but to select a hurricane rated door. Be aware that any door with windows costs about 2/3s more to have the hurricane raiting.

You might want to add a wall mounted pergoal over the door to add some zest to the front of the home.

I like your home. It needs a few updates, but overall has great bones IMO. I actually think simple is better in this instance. Get it up to hurricane wind code standards and strongly consider changing out your shutters for something that meets current code so you get the benefit of a substantial insurance premium reduction. Pressure clean the sidewalk areas and work on the landscaping and you will have a real jewel. :)

Thank you. We plan on removing the awnings, replacing windows, replacing walkway/ stairs and painting.

A wood front and garage door would look fantastic. I would also change your trim to one of the darkest colors from your roof.
