My husband and I are about to purchase our first home and we are ready and willing to do the work to update this kitchen space. We want to do as much of it as we can ourselves. we are wanting a white kitchen (possible two tone with dark grey on the bottom) but the thing I’m having trouble deciding on is the soffit above the cabinet. How can I update that area? Also I’d love some suggestions on how to possibly incorporate an island or breakfast bar where the current bar top is. I just feel like that is such wasted space. Thanks!
