Dear Ohio Valley gardeners. I live in Indiana, on the Ohio, and whenever I disturb my potato patch a cloud of white flies fills the air. They seem to be injurious to my plants. Are they whiteflies? (I thought whiteflies would be bigger.) Any ideas for how to rid myself of these pests? I have tried neem oil and spinosad to little effect. I have attached a photo of some I have caught on a yellow sticky pad with my dirty thumb for scale (Please ignore the fly/flies).
